Real-time data applications create dynamic connections across Europe, integrating diverse streams of information to showcase a shared identity and foster collaboration. These tools bridge gaps by providing live insights into decision-making processes, curating narratives of everyday experiences, and enabling real-time, interactive connection.
EP in Realtime
A realtime look into the European Parliament
Europe is an ever changing project, shaped by us Europeans. The EU Parliament plays a key role by listening to these voices and addressing the matters raised across Europe. We gave these current topics, impacts, and real-time statements a new digital appearance: The EP realtime table, combining different sources of realtime data into one interactive touch table. Real-time feeds, videos, news, agendas, background stories: All loaded from different digital sources, synced, and presented as combined data in one real-time table.
Particles
Particles symbolize the stream of real-time messages, flowing over the large 6x HD touch table. All particle elements may increase and reveal a relatime message thst was just recently posted by an MEP or an intitution of the EU. This way, we created an animated data background for our app.
Real time feeds
Real-time feeds, videos, news, agendas, background stories: All loaded from different digital sources, synced, and presented as combined data in one real-time table.
I stand for Europe
An interactive collage of real-time European portraits
Our EXPERIENCE EUROPE centres are located throughout Europe, in over 14 metrolpols. We developed an interactive photo installation that connects all locations and shares real-time pictures taken in the centres to large Pro-European image collages. A wall of photos showing our visitors, and a picture to be shared online: „I stand for Europe“.
Connecting Europe
Our installation is part of the Europe Centres all over the continent: Visitors can see photos taken in realtime from other locations- from Rome to Paris, from Helsinki to Bucharest, on over a dozend locations.
Sharing: A bold Statement
Visitors may customize their photo statement: With a bold statement to express, why democracy is key for them. The picture is send via email to the user and may freely be shared in their social media channels. This way, we support Pro-European voices in digital communities and give every visitor a voice.
Play Europe
An immersive educational roleplay game
We developed a mobile simulation game for school classes: Be a member of EU Parliament for 2 hours and take decisions for all Europe! Based on an existing role-play game, we created this mobile simulation game, all in 24 languages.
Education 2.0
The mobile RPG allows groups of 16-32 players to experience the daily life of a Member of the European Parliament in a playful way through a personalised game device. During the game, players have to individually collect and analyse information by interacting with virtual characters, negotiate with other players, as well as hold speeches or give interviews in front of the group. This way, the players get to know the legislative process of the European Union hands-on in their own interactive educational experience.
Transforming room and space
In order to ensure the same fun and educative experience in every conceivable location, the game is equipped with its own self-contained mesh network as well as mobile hardware elements. As a result, the game can be set up almost independently of technical and spacial conditions on site in a plug and play setup. No matter if for one day, a project week or permanently placed: the mobile RPG turns any place into a playground and lets players immerse themselves in the world of the European Parliament.
