Our film unit developed a panoramic storyboard and took into consideration the special requirements of a circular cinema: In first tests we realized that even tough visitors can look around in 360°, they intuitively focus into one main direction. As a result, de defined a main content zone to guide the eyes of our visitors during playback.

Visitors can experience the film in all European languages. To do so, special headsets were installed for each seat offering a translation sound – just like the interpreters do for EU Parliament sessions. On top, we also added special sound tracks for visually impaired visitors including audio description of the 360° film content.

Daily life is a curated collection of 54 cinematic portraits from all European countries showcasing European citizens in their everyday lives, exploring what Europe means to them and what matters most in their lives. Our scope included research of the protagonists, filming in all European countries, postproduction and development of the interactive playback application – and new films are already in the pipeline.

The integral part of our „United in Diversity“ application are the Ground of Stories: over 120 carefully crafted films that highlight the work of EU policies and their impact on citizens‘ lives. All over Europe we produced films that demonstrate the relevance of EU policies and initiatves in diverse areas, such as energy, environmental protection, and technological innovation. These films aimed to inspire and inform audiences of all ages by telling compelling, relatable stories that illuminate the need for collective European action. Through the lens of real-life projects and scientific advancements, we explored pressing global issues such as marine pollution, the future of renewable energy, and robotics, showing how EU policies contribute to finding solutions.
