MEP & MEC Wall
Members of Parliament: Who is who?
The European Parliament consists of more than 700 „Members of Parliament“, or MEPs. They represent us, democratically elected by the EU election in all European countries. We created an interactive installation showing all MEPs of the current Plenary. We did so by presenting them in a large-scale photo installation, giving the EU Parliament the „face“ of all the MEPs, all connected to a live database. And we allow visitors to search, filter and learn more about MEPs, read their social media feeds, and even send them a message.
Live data integration
We make sure the gallery of MEPs is always up-to-date. We connected to the official MEP database and also load social media feeds in realtime for all MEPs. This way, we keep the gallery of MEPs for our visitors always updated.
Scalability
Our MEP wall installation can cover a large display range in order to present all MEP pictures at the same time. In order to also integrate the MEP Wall in smaller exhibitions, we developed alternative display versions that run only one a 4K display. Here, we include an alternative display logic to still show all selected MEPs, but not at the same time.
