The new smart fortwo cabrio is radically open. We invite testers to try out the new smart fortwo caprio – in the most open test drive ever. See what happened when we kooked up testers to a lie detector and ask them daring questions! The challenge: They need to keep responding the truth – or the convertible top will close and the car will automatically stop.
A lie detector connected to a car
We developed a special sensor component that is indeed a smart polygraph: It can detect body reactions, reacts on the testers reactions on questions and displays the outcome in a neat little box. The tricky part for us: Getting the device linked up to the car electronics so that the convertible top automatically closes on cue. We installed the polygraph in our testing car and had a blast in South Africa watching peoples reactions on our sharp questions…
