Located in Zurich, the FIFA World Football Museum offers a new home to football history. With extraordinary exhibits from all over the world, the interactive and multimedia-based museum shows how the game excites people from all continents and which role the FIFA plays.
Type of Exhibition:
about 700 m²
Period of Time:
In over 1,000 unique exhibits the visitors can see, hear and feel how football arouses emotions. We produced multimedia software for tablets, touch screens and wall-projections for the FIFA World Football Museum.
The „World Map“ exhibit offers the visitors the possibility to view different information with respect to FIFA over a total of three terminals and a large wall projection. The visitors can check facts in different modes such as „championship results“, „rankings“ or „investments“ by navigating on a world map while they travel over the selected country. The exhibit was developed with the node based visual programming language VVVV. There is a 55” large middle touch screen with an integrated computer, which provides special tracking-software to transfer the protocol TUIO touch-input from the user to the VVVV application.
The „Soccer Dance“ exhibit is a dance game that allows the spectator to do nine famous soccer cheering dances in front of a large screen. The game recognizes how well the player can imitate the selected dance to collect game points displayed in a high score at the end. The Kinect forms the basis for interaction with the exhibit. Bandicam servers record the second renderer, which displays a split screen of the player recording and the dancing figure. RSYNC is used with this exhibit, to send recorded split screen videos to a CMS server, so that visitors can download them later via code inputs.
