We all know Minimal Art from museums. But many works of minimal art were created directly from everyday materials. To bring this art back into the everyday context, we have developed an online AR tool. This AR experience was launched on the occasion of the Minimal ART exhibition at the Bucerius Kunstforum in Hamburg.
The Objects
QR codes let three different Minimal Art artworks appear in any environment. The whole application works browser based, no download of an additional app is necessary. Now you can place artworks made of neon tubes, aluminum profiles and colored surfaces anywhere and check how Minimal Art looks on the kitchen counter, by the waste paper container or on the dashboard of your car or….
